Academy's view is dominated by the successful combination of beautifully renovated heritage with well-thought-out new construction. For the renovation of the heritage present on the site, we are working together with specialists in the field of monument conservation.
For the additional new construction, a deliberate choice was made for a number of different sustainable projects, developed by a select group of renowned architects and partners. This results in seven unique sub-projects that together provide a varied housing offer.

On the site, breathing space is created by structurally scheduling a number of squares, pieces of nature and spacious passages. In addition to the two honorary courtyards embellished with greenery on the façade of the fire station and the Academy, three large gardens will be created on the site. There will also be plenty of space left over for private gardens, which will effortlessly blend into their surroundings thanks to hedges. In this way, beautiful garden apartments will be created around the spacious green gardens.
