Historical monument The Waghetol
The former weigh house was built by order of the City of Antwerp at the beginning of the 16th century. The Neo-Classical façade under the saddle roof consists of red brick and sandstone where the Baroque gate in blue stone immediately attracts your attention.
This stately entrance leads you into the building which was renovated in 1988 by architect Eddy Posson as an architectural office consisting of 3 floors. In 2004, it was converted into a multi-family building comprising four residential units.
The common stairwell with elevator takes you to the five floors of the building. The first and second floors include a charming townhouse with three bedrooms and a courtyard of approximately 50m2.
